Dr. Malini Natarajarathinam is the Program Coordinator of Industrial Distribution and Director of the Read Center at Texas A&M University.
Dr. Malini’s work focuses on supply chain optimization, global logistics, and workforce development, with a particular interest in bridging
academic research with real-world distribution and supply chain challenges. Her collaborative approach supports both graduate education and industry-driven innovation. She leads core supply chain courses, mentors graduate students, and contributes to advancing engineering education. Dr. Malini is also a Fellow of the American Society for Engineering Education (ASEE), recognizing her sustained contributions to the field.

Dr. Willy Bolander is the Rader II Professor of Industrial Distribution and Associate Director of the Read Center at Texas A&M University. A recognized expert in sales, marketing, and organizational behavior, he researches influence, persuasion, and leadership, with work featured in top academic journals and outlets like Forbes, Fast Company, and Fox News. At the Read Center, he plays a key role in advancing academic excellence and fostering collaboration within the industrial distribution community. As host of The Sales Lab Podcast and an award-winning educator, Dr. Bolander prepares students and professionals to lead in the world’s top organizations.

Joe Dyson leads continuing education programs at the Read Center, where he designs and delivers industry-relevant learning experiences aligned with the evolving needs of the distribution sector. He brings a global perspective and over two decades of experience in strategic sales, program management, and market development, with leadership roles at companies such as Burckhardt Compression and Dover Precision Components. Joe also serves as a part-time faculty member in the Industrial Distribution Program at Texas A&M University. He holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Distribution from Texas A&M and a certificate in Sustainability Strategies from Stanford University.

Taylor Dudley, Lecturer in Industrial Distribution, will oversee the Talent Incubator Program, which is focused on developing the next generation of leaders in the field. He brings a strong background in operations management and leadership, having held roles such as Branch Manager at Texas Pool Supply, Managing Director at Builders Supply Logistics, and Corporate Operations/Strategic Planning at SRS Distribution Inc. He holds an MBA from the McCombs School of Business and a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Distribution from Texas A&M University. Taylor combines practical industry experience with a passion for talent development and innovation.

Dr. Betul Cengil is an Instructional Assistant Professor in the Industrial Distribution Program at Texas A&M University. At the Read Center, she ensures efficient day-to-day functionality across all areas and supports the Center’s broader mission through strategic operations. She brings six years of professional experience from Philip Morris International and Vestel Electronic, where she held roles in supply chain, quality and project management, and new product launches. With a doctorate in Industrial Engineering, she also brings academic expertise in data science, machine learning, and healthcare applications, and is committed to hands-on, industry-connected education.
