Body of Knowledge

The Read Center was created over 30 years ago and quickly established itself as the leading source in Codifying Distribution Best Practices, Knowledge Generation, and for Providing Education Programs for Industry Professionals.

Global Supply Chain Lab

The Global Supply Chain Lab (GSCL) was created to conduct research and work on consulting projects for industries. For the past 20 years, the GSCL’s research professionals, who are fully dedicated to working with our industry partners, have conducted hundreds of projects that generate New Best Practices and Innovative Competitive Processes.

Talent Incubator Program

The Talent Incubator Program (TIP) was formed over 10 years ago with the mission to educate and introduce undergraduate students to Industry through industry sponsored projects. These projects often take on an innovative approach, in which companies explore new territory in their business with the help of our TIP Researchers. Many of our researchers continue to grow into future leaders within the fields of their projects.

Partnerships

For the past 10 years, the Read Center has been in an alliance with the National Association of Wholesaler-Distributors (NAW) Institute that conducts major research consortia where many firms join with our research team to solve and build a knowledge base around critical and challenging industry issues. The Read Center leverages this body of knowledge to create open enrollment classes for distribution professionals to develop their skills. We offer the Certificate in Distribution Professional Management (CDPM) which is a prestigious NAW certificate program for high potential leadership candidates.
